The
Predator VC
systems are high
quality, real-time, full motion multi-source display processors, or
MultiViewers. Unlike a DVR, the VC MultiViewers process both
analog and computer sources in extremely high quality for both
confidence and quality monitoring purposes.
The
systems come complete with built-in video & power alarms, camera/source
labelling and
advanced control options.
The introduction of the Predator Series is a direct response
to the security market's demands for high image quality, easy
operator control and cost effectiveness.
Predator
Series models are perfectly matched for use with today's modern
control room display technologies; high resolution plasma, LCD and
projection systems. All camera and graphics sources can be monitored
on one central control wall using Predator systems.
Spot monitor and DVR outputs can also be integrated as part
of the monitoring wall
The Predator VC12/16 MultiViewers accept composite video inputs.
The systems have numerous built-in presets or
templates. With VC 12
models, two expansion
slots are available to allow the insertion of additional dual
channel plug in cards to increase the number of inputs by 2 or 4.
Additional inputs may be video or computer sources.
User selectable output resolutions include SXGA+, UXGA,
1080p, in
addition to wide screen resolutions common to Plasma and LCD
displays. Predator
systems can be controlled via the On-Screen Display or via
serial or GP ports. Z-Configurator
software is provided as standard for selecting from the various templates
and for switching sources.
Predator VC Series also features the sophisticated Zandar Dual
Head (ZdH) facility. Controlled by Z-Configurator
software, ZdH ultimately provides two MultiViewers in
one chassis, with outstanding cost savings. It also brings
substantial redundancy benefits in the event of display failure,
with the ability to re-route all channels to the remaining active
display with no loss of function in the control room. The facility
allows the seamless flexibility to drive two displays at any one
time where inputs can be viewed on either display, including the
option to horizontally span the image across the displays.
A
LAN remote control interface is available for
network control of multiple units over LAN.
Predator VC models are compact, non-PC based processors
offering the ultimate reliability and accuracy of video/data
presentation required in 24/7 monitoring centers.
