Overview
Predator II is more than just a MultiViewer, it is a complete
Control and Monitoring solution. It can be used in a smaller control
room setting as a stand-alone system for 16 to 32 channels. In
medium to large control rooms, multiple Predator II MultiViewers can
be combined as part of a Distributed MultiViewer solution. A
Distributed solution involves dedicating select Predator II systems
to a group of displays and using the studio router to assign sources
to the groups.
A centrally controlled Distributed MultiViwer set-up improves the
redundancy of the installation, as there is no single point of
failure. Predator II is the ideal choice for a Control Room that is
expected to be redundant, flexible and open to future growth.
