NEW DISPLAY PROCESSOR ENHANCEMENTS FROM ZANDAR

Zandar Add New Features & Options for Multi-Source Display
Applications
Dublin, Ireland – New features and options for the
FusionPro High-Resolution Display Processor from Zandar Technologies
plc, a leading developer and global provider of multi-source display
solutions, will make their debut at NAB on booth #SU9915, Las Vegas,
April 17th-22nd. These include support for HDTV in the form of Dual
Channel HD-SDI Input Processor cards, and new user interfaces to
improve the control, configuration and maintenance of the Virtual
Monitor Wall. Zandar will show the StudioPro Advanced Monitoring
Module, which provides the operator with multi-system control, wall-wide
configuration capabilities, enhanced graphics, including clocks,
and extensive fault detection and alarming. Also on display will
be the new Zandar Remote Panel. This console will control any number
of FusionPro or DX MultiViewer systems with intuitive push button
selections and informative LED display.

instant visibility of each source, immediate and visual alert of
fault conditions, clear display of channel idents, tally status,

Fusion Series of High-Resolution Video Display Processor Systems
The FusionPro supports a range of plug in processor cards, enabling
users to combine input formats - analog video, SDI, RGBHV and now
HD-SDI - in the one system and display them to Plasma, LCD or Projection
Displays. The new HD-SDI Processor Card accepts 720p and 1080i
formats. The FusionPro 3U supports up to 13 such dual-channel input
cards for the display of up to 26 real-time windows. The modular
chassis is designed to provide robust solutions for large-scale
audio-visual display applications including Command & Control,
Virtual Monitor Walls, Presentation, Video-conferencing and Control
Rooms. With dual redundant hotswappable power supplies and front
loading cards, the FusionPro 3U is easily serviced and upgraded.
To transition from analog video to digital video sources requires
a change of i/o only. The Fusion1U takes up to 4 plug-in cards from
the range, for the display of up to 8 windows. All cards can be
mixed and matched for complete flexibility.
StudioPro is an Advanced Monitoring Module that, when combined with
the FusionPro 3RU modular rack, provides an integrated and intuitive
interface to the operator for the set-up, operation and maintenance
of the Virtual Monitor Wall. StudioPro enables graphically enhanced
displays, the inclusion of logo or bitmap files, and the display
of clocks. StudioPro provides a single interface for the control
and configuration of multiple systems via LAN and generates alerts
to connected users via SNMP of alarm conditions, which are also
logged to file and visually indicated. With extensive alarm notification
of video, audio and system faults, StudioPro completes the picture.
Also new for NAB, the Zandar Remote Panel for FusionPro and DX MultiViewers
is a neat, compact desk-top console with local serial connection
capabilities for the control for multiple systems. This allows for
straightforward user selection of layouts, full screen spot displays
and other functions.
DX Series MultiViewers
The DX Series continues to win admirers with its’ compact 1RU
enclosure, auto-sensing inputs and 4, 8, 12 and 16 channel configurations.
New to NAB and now provided as standard, the DX also detects a range
of user programmable fault conditions for alarm notification, including
Loss of Sync, Black Picture Detection and Frozen Picture Detection.
With a full range of options for broadcast monitoring, high quality
digital and analog video outputs, a secondary VGA output and attractive
price-tag, the DX is a must-see option for those with any video
monitoring and display requirements.
