TEN NEW FEATURE ENHANCEMENTS FOR ZANDAR FUSIONPRO AT IBC 2004

FusionPro, Zandar's flagship MultiViewer and mainstay of many
broadcast monitoring systems worldwide, is now available with a
host of valuable new features and product enhancements.
Already widely used by broadcasters such as BT in the UK, Retevision
in Spain, BR Germany, EBU (European Broadcasting Union), TTV in
Taiwan and Star TV in Hong Kong, the FusionPro is consistently chosen
for its versatility and scalability for high quality multi channel
monitoring. Its modular structure and range of signal input and
processing cards allow users to configure systems to their unique
requirements. With composite, SDI, HDTV and computer inputs the
FusionPro is adaptable to technology migration and alleviates concerns
over future proofing.
New features for IBC are numerous and include new HDTV support -
1080i and 720p at 60 /59.94 Hz and now also 50Hz
- at all output resolutions. There are new HD video alarms on detection
of loss of sync, black picture, or frozen picture together with
HDTV embedded audio monitoring with in-picture bar graphs and alarms
for loss of audio and audio under- and over- levels. A very useful
new feature is input auto detection or auto-syncing - FusionPro now
syncs automatically to the input signal source. HD cards now also
support SDI, while SD cards support PAL, PAL-M, NTSC or SDI
525/626. The Computer cards can now sync up to a wide range of resolutions,
including the newly added computer inputresolution of 1365x768,
which has been provided due to user demand.
Zandar have also addressed users’ desire for faster upgrade
times too, so that future upgrades and feature enhancements will
take just a few minutes to load. To improve the display, there
are now longer labels and double labels. The built-in test patterns
now allow user calibration and alignment of third party display
devices, ensuring that the FusionPro drives the attached display
at its native resolution, correct frequency and phase, ensuring
optimal picture quality, a hallmark of Zandar MultiViewers. For
improved operability, there is a new Remote Panel, which can
control any number of FusionPros or other Zandar MultiViewers, with
immediate layout recall and other useful functions. Finally, the
new Z-Manager software greatly improves the user experience and
will now be provided as standard.
So, there are 10 new reasons to check out Zandar at IBC (#8.261).
These new enhancements elevate the Fusion Series as a
truly outstanding product range and accelerate its position as the
leading high quality output system in the multi image display
market.
