government video & technology expo 2007

showcase their new Predator II MultiViewer for Command and Control
at the 10th annual Government & Video Exhibition,
2007 between 15 – 16 November 2007 at Washington DC Convention
Center, USA.

Specifically designed for
control and monitoring, the 2RU Predator II MultiViewer can handle
up to 32 HD and SD inputs (available in configurations of 16, 20, 24
and 32 inputs) and is perfectly suited for command and control not
only in a context where broadcasters need to monitor multiple
sources in transmission chains, but also in a security and CCTV
setting where there may be a need to monitor many image sources at
the one time.
The MultiViewer is packed
with an impressive collection of advanced and high-end features that
includes fast status reporting, auto format detection (16:9 or 4:3)
and fast response time as well as virtualisation of UMD, tally and
studio clock display. This enables the user to have a completely
virtual monitor wall.
The Predator II also
effortlessly integrates with third-party controllers and equipment
and can also be operated using Z-Controller or Z-Configurator
software. The ZdH™
Dual Head display facility can also be utilized for the monitoring
across two display devices. Dual redundant power supplies ensure reliability and the
Predator II MultiViewer has been introduced at an extremely
competitive price point.
The
new Predator II will be shown alongside the current range of Zandar
MultiViewers including the Predator HD and FusionPro+ series as well
as advanced control options such as Z-Controller and Z-Configurator.

Madison, Wisconsin utilize Zandar FusionPro MultiViewers to
display multiple computer and video signals used for tactical
training of F-16 aircraft fighter pilots.
- A
Predator HD12 MultiViewer has been supplied to Worldwide
Satellite Communications for installation in a mobile SD and HD
Flypack system that is being used for video monitoring and
recording and internet broadcasting of surgical procedures in
hospital locations across the
United States

- Predator
HD8 MultiViewers are configured to display eight images using
DualQuad™ mode inside the YES HD outside broadcast vehicle for
YES Productions based in
New Orleans

USA

- Predator
VC12 MultiViewers are installed at Syosset station on the Long
Island Rail Road (LIRR) in
Nassau
County
. Each of
the station’s platforms is fitted with 12 CCTV cameras and
three 46-inch LCD flat-screen monitors which receive the camera
feeds for train drivers to monitor the gap between the platform
and trains.
- Belgium-based
Alfacam Television Facilities have invested in over 200 Zandar
Technologies Predator MultiViewers installed in 11 trucks.
- 48
Predator HD8 MultiViewers are used for HD content provision for
Champion Football for Sky Sports, Sky HD by Arqiva.
