ITALY'S SBP INSTALLS ZANDAR IN NEW HD OB VEHICLE

Dublin, Ireland - July 24th 2006 –
Zandar Technologies, a leading innovator in the design and
development of high resolution image processing and control systems,
installs new FusionPro+
and Predator Series MultiViewers in a fully-HD capable mobile
outside broadcast unit for SBP in Italy.
The equipment was sold to SBP through Italian distributor
Elemaint. SBP is a
leading Italian broadcast services company with offices in
Rome
,
Milan
and
Turin
. The new HD capable outside broadcast vehicle, based in
Rome
, is designed to cope with the demands of some of
Europe
's largest and most prestigious concert and sporting events.
It will be fully functional and ready to broadcast in August,
2006.
Five FusionPro+
Series are installed with enhanced display processing engines
capable of handling resolutions up to 1080p.
The FusionPro+ systems are driving a mix of Clarity Visual
Systems high resolution 46 and 40 inch LCD displays.
Each of the FusionPro+
systems are fitted with the ZdH Dual Head option and can drive two
displays simultaneously, with any input being displayed at any
location on either display, or even spanning across them.
The six Predator HD8 systems are configured to drive Sony
17" monitors.
Sergio Nuvolini Technical Manager for SBP, designed the complete
OB
system. "The
flexibility of the Zandar systems makes it easy to create and
configure the monitor wall to match the needs of any particular type
of event, and it also takes care of all of the UMD and Tally
information." Zandar competed aggressively with some of its main
MultiViewer competitors to secure this deal with SBP, and came out
on top in assessments on picture quality, performance and
feature-set.

The 14-metre long truck will be on display at IBC this coming
September at #OEH218 with the quality of the monitor wall pictures
available for all to see. Zandar
Technologies shall also be demonstrating
OB
truck applications on their Stand 8.411 within the main exhibition
area.
