jvc for european-wide professional studio tour 2007

Dublin, 16 August 2007 - Predator HD8 MultiViewer technology from Zandar Technologies, a leading technology innovator and pioneer in MultiViewer systems, was the solution chosen by JVC Professional Europe Ltd to drive Quad-split displays across 40-inch true HD DT-V Series LCD displays installed inside their demonstration studio vehicle. The vehicle which is currently on tour visiting 36 destinations across Europe will be driving to Amsterdam in September for the IBC show and will set down to visit the international broadcast community in Hall 10, stand 441.
"Our Professional Studio Tour began tour in May 2007 and aims to highlight the benefits of using our expansive range of monitor and camcorder products. It made sense for us to show how well they integrate with third-party products and solutions which are typically found in a broadcast production environment" explains Oliver Helfrich, Marketing Manager, Germany & Benelux regions at JVC Professional Europe Ltd. "The Zandar MultiViewer was selected due to its capability of handling live video feeds from camcorders, HD and SD playouts. Everyone who has so far seen the picture quality reproduced by the MultiViewer had been very impressed."
The compact 1RU sized Predator HD8 displays up to 8 HD/SDI (auto-detected) video images with output resolution up to 1080p (50/60Hz), in single or dual output mode. Any layout configuration of 8 inputs can be shows across two displays, including dual Quad-split. Zandar's Predator HD Series is now established as the solution of choice for Outside Broadcast and Production applications where quality HD monitoring with minimal frame delays, integrated UMD/Tally control and configurable layouts are required.
