Zandar is driving HD monitoring forward with many successful outside
broadcast (OB) installations that are used daily throughout Europe,
including Switzerland and Italy.

all-new Predator HD and FusionPro+ MultiViewers that are fast
becoming the preferred choice for
OB

The Predator HD and FusionPro+ MultiViewers are particularly
suitable for mobile or outside broadcast installations due to their
flexibility to combine multiple formats including analogue video,
SDI, HD-SDI, DVI sources, and audio.
Their compact design (1RU to 3RU) is also a benefit
especially when used with space saving LCD, plasma and projection
systems. They have the
added flexibility of being able to seamlessly change the display
options using the Z-Configurator software.
The ZdH dual-display facility enables the display across more
than one screen and the all-new Z-Controller software provides for
easy-to-use source manipulation, alarm reporting and control. The
dual redundant power supply is also a benefit in
OB
installations.
Recent successes include tpc,
Switzerland
's largest TV production company who, since 2005, have
successfully utilised Predator HD MultiViewers in a fully HDTV and
SD capable
OB
truck. SBP, a large
OB
production and post production company in
Italy
, is using a mix of FusionPro+ and Predator HD MultiViewers combined
with LCD displays in their HDTV OB vehicle for the production of
large events and sports coverage. Zandar are involved in further OB
projects in the UK, Austria and France.
At
this year's IBC on stand #8.411, Zandar will feature an
OB
truck scenario with multiple Predator HD MultiViewers configured
across a wall of LCD monitors. A
live demonstration of the seamless display using both the Predator
HD and FusionPro+ MultiViewers will also be seen on the SBP OB truck
in the Outside Broadcast area (#OEH218).
