ZANDAR EASES HDTV MONITORING AT NAB06

Zandar
Technologies, a leading

showcase enhanced HDTV capabilities in its MultiViewer range to the
international broadcast community at Booth #SU1033 at NAB between 24
- 27 April, 2006 in Las Vegas.
Continuing
its commitment to evolve multi-image display technology in response
to the industry's demands, Zandar's HD portfolio boasts exciting
feature enhancements to ease the HDTV transition for broadcasters
worldwide. Pristine
image quality that is synonymous with the Zandar MultiViewer brand
is further strengthened with a product range that addresses the
challenges of HD monitoring. This
includes the support of genuine HD output resolutions (1080p),
automatic aspect ratio management and auto-sensing of HD and SD
signals to bridge the HDTV migration.
Catering for cost-effective HDTV source
monitoring requirements, the all new Predator HD8 will make a debut
at NAB 06. Compact in size and designed specifically for HDTV
installations, the Predator HD8 follows on the success of the high
quality Predator HD4 quad MultiViewer to combine an unprecedented
level of functionality at an affordable price.
This well designed 1RU system includes, as standard, the ZdHT
Zandar Dual Head display control making it particularly suitable for
space-saving OB truck installations where eight images can be
displayed on one ultra-high resolution display or mode-switched to
DualQuadT for display across two screens.
The Predator HD8 comes with the flexible Z-Configurator
layout editing software for seamless configuration.
Also
on display, the modular FusionPro+ MultiViewer is the
next generation in the Fusion Series and has been developed to now
support high definition resolutions of up to WUXGA and 1080p.
Available in either 1RU or 3RU, the system combines multiple
inputs in all common formats such as analog video, SDI, HD-SDI,
RGBHV computer sources, DVI sources, and audio, all in one system.
Like the Predator HD8, FusionPro+ is easily set up
and managed using the intuitive Z-Configurator layout software and
features ZdH Zandar Dual Head as an option to achieve significant
cost-savings. ZdH
converts the FusionPro+ MultiViewer into a wall processor, capable
of driving two displays as one virtual super-screen.
With any input on any output, images can be spanned across
both displays to add further add flexibility.
The
standard monitoring facilities available across the FusionPro+ and
Predator HD MultiViewer range have been additionally boosted to now
offer automatic aspect ratio management, support of further dynamic
UMD protocols as well as the intuitive SNMP messaging of in-built
alarms over a LAN network.
