Zandar MULTIVIEWERS AT
BRAZILIAN CABLE TV

Dublin, Ireland ~ April 10th 2007 ~ Zandar Technologies, a leading innovator in the design and development of high resolution image processing and control systems, has won the contract to supply twenty-one Zandar 16-channel DX-16 MultiViewers to Net Serviços de Comunicação S.A. (NET CATV), Brazil's largest cable provider.
NET CATV has approximately 200 channels and more than 1.4 million subscribers to a cable network that is viewed in more than 6.7 million homes in Brazil. The contract shall see the DX MultiViewer systems used in a major nationwide expansion of Headend monitoring facilities.
Within a single programme such as soccer or car racing, Zandar DX Series MultiViewers will be configured to display up to 16 different live camera feeds and angles as well as recorded video in the control room. Home viewers will also have the ability to select a different camera view which will be delivered directly to their home television set.
The equipment was provided by local Zandar reseller Sterling. Nestor Almeida, Director at Sterling adds, "NET CATV has been a champion of Zandar MultiViewers for many years with multiple MX-16 and DX-16 Series MultiViewers operational in their facilities today."

Even Europe's largest IT Reseller, Computacenter is benefiting from viewing critical images in real-time at their new demonstration suite.
