showcase the all new Predator HD8 MultiViewer alongside the range of
enhanced HDTV MultiViewers on Booth #SU1033 at NAB between 24 - 27
April, 2006 in Las Vegas.
The introduction of the new and enhanced MultiViewer follows on
the success of the high quality Predator HD4 quad MultiViewer to
combine an unprecedented level of functionality.
Catering for cost-effective HDTV source monitoring
requirements, the all new Predator HD8 is compact in size and
designed specifically for HDTV installations.
It incorporates eight auto-sensing inputs allowing both HDTV 720p
and 1080i formats and legacy SDI (270Mb/s) signals to be used
together, bridging the migration to HDTV signal formats.
The unit is also compliant with wide-screen resolutions
common to Plasma and LCD displays.
The Predator HD8 comes with the flexible Z-Configurator layout
editing software for seamless configuration.
This
1RU system includes, as standard, the innovative ZdHT Zandar Dual
Head display control making it particularly suitable for
space-saving OB truck installations where eight images can be
displayed on one ultra-high resolution display or mode-switched to
DualQuadT for display across two screens.
Input source auto-detection, embedded audio monitoring and
alarms, and video fault alarms and detection is included. The HD8
also supports dynamic UMD and tally display from external routers,
and clock and timecode display.
