ZANDAR UPGRADES CHEMICAL FACILITY'S VIDEO MONITORING SYSTEM

Zandar
Technologies has successfully teamed up with security systems
integrator, Guardian Security Services to upgrade the video system
used to monitor a chemical facility in Ohio. Recognizing the need to scrutinize the site for potential threats,
Guardian wanted to ensure that it could clearly monitor perimeters,
parking lots, entry points, and busy internal areas to secure the
site. The result of this partnership is increased security for the
chemical facility.
Guardian Security Services, which specializes in the design,
installation, maintenance and monitoring of physical electronic
security systems for high risk environments, had recently designed
and installed the facility's surveillance systems. However, the
images were often unclear due to the combination of analog
surveillance video feeds monitored on large digital LCD displays. To
resolve the problem, Guardian approached
Zandar
through representative Heartland Media Group to install a
multi-source display processor, or in this case, the FusionPro
MultiViewer.
Zandar's FusionPro MultiViewer processes the analog video feed and
converts the image format to one that is compatible with the LCD
monitors, greatly increasing the quality of the video on these
displays. As

video feeds, but the system is truly designed for a specific
purpose; security guards must be able to easily identify potential
threats. It's easier to monitor the premises when the images are

Additionally, incorporating the FusionPro in the facility's
security control room helped to upgrade the entire system.

video analysis systems, facility maps, live video feeds, and access
control systems while maintaining a logical presentation of this
information for the guards to use.
